The Sugarcubes are a group out of Iceland that featured lead singer Björk. This particular single was remixed by Tony Humphries although the record and the sleeve mistakenly say Todd Terry, as does this video. This was a hit at Don Welch and Barbara Tucker’s Underground Network party at the now closed Sound Factory Bar in New York City. This was a very popular Wednesday party with resident DJ “Little” Louie Vega back in the early 90′s. Leash Called Love reached #1 on the U.S. Dance charts in 1992.
