Ralphi Rosario Featuring Xaviera Gold – You Used To Hold Me is a Paradise Garage classic from 1987. It was one of many house music songs that came out of Chicago and became very popular in New York City’s underground house music scene. This was Rosario’s most popular release and it came out on the Chicago label Hot Mix 5. The label was a spin-off of the Hot Mix 5 WBMX radio show in Chicago of which Ralphi Rosario was a member of. Xaviera Gold was the vocalist and she too was a DJ on WBMX. Kenny Jason did this particular remix and he was a member of the Hot Mix 5 as well. In 1994 the song ware-released with remixes.
