Holdin’ On was the debut single by legendary house music singer Michael Watford in 1991. It was written and produced by Roger S. and the Smack Production team of Mike Cameron and Eddie Perez. It was released on the major label Atlantic Records and was also featured on the Underground Dance Music Compilation Number 1 from the same label. The Virginia-born and New Jersey-raised Michael Watford would go on to put out several singles including So Into You which went to Number One on the Billboard Dance Chart.

Ahhhhh, this is a Classic. Brings me back to the warehouse parties, dark, only light from the dj’s turntable, so hot that condensation was dripping from the ceilings. I miss those days.
