Joey Longo better known as Pal Joey is the genius behind this underground smash. He sampled Carl Bean’s Disco gay anthem I Was Born This Way. But the beats are what really make this track take off. They have been sampled numerous times even though they are so familiar. The chant of “Dance” comes from the Chic classic Dance, Dance ,Dance. 1990 was a great era in house music and this will always be one of the tracks that shaped that time period.
